I started writing this song at the beginning of February thinking about what new sounding things I could do for this album. I wanted something a-typical, and eventually got this kinda Latin Jazz thing happening. Then I found the organ sound on my keyboard. I knew I had a hit. I came up with the lyrics in like 35 minutes, just writing things down on a big piece of cardboard and doing word association until i had enough key phrases to make a story.
