lyrics

The calendar embarrasses me.
It exposes every detail I don't wanna see.
Hey girl
Can you say ow you've really been?
You're ill themed.
Like you stole if from a magazine
You're as comited as the wind in the trees.
At least I know I'll find you in the summer leaves.

Walking down a trail of crumbs
that overlaps too much.
You are so much more than just a metaphor for love.
Through the summer breeze and encryption keys,
the wind, the rain, and the autumn leaves.
I just keep waiting for you heart.
We both keep waiting for your heart.
Until mine atrophies.

What I mean.
What I'm saying dear.
You want to watch the dishes pile up in the sink?
For the next 20 years.
While I sing "Baby do you need a beer?"
All the time.
All the time.
We waste making up our minds.
When we're already here.

Walking down a trail of crumbs
that overlaps too much.
You were always a terrible metaphor for love.
Through the summer breeze and encryption keys,
the wind, the rain, and the autumn leaves.
I just keep waiting for you heart.
We both keep waiting for your heart.
Until mine atrophies.
